High School Registration
What You Need To Play a Sport in the PIL
A student participating in athletics must have a Sport Physical examination (valid for 2 years from the date the Dr. signed the form). If athletes have turned in a current Physical form for a fall sport, they will not need to do so again for the Winter or Spring seasons.

- Many School-Based Health Centers offer affordable physicals if needed. These locations can be found HERE.

To be cleared academically:
Student must have passed at least 5 courses last semester.
Be currently enrolled and passing at least 5 courses this semester.
Earned the following number of credits:
- 4.0 credits by start of 10th grade
- 9.5 credits by start of 11th grade
- 16 credits by starts of 12th grade
Earned the following minimum GPA:
- 2.0 GPA with no F’s
- 2.5 GPA with one F
FAILURE TO MEET 1, 2 or 3 = NOT ELIGIBLE
FAILURE TO MEET 4 = ACADEMIC PROBATION
Participation Fees:
PIL Sponsored Sports
- $200 per sport per student
- There is a two fee cap per student. (i.e. if a student plays a fall and winter PIL sport, the spring sport fee is waved)
- There is a four fee family cap per year per family
- The PIL offers a reduced rate for families of $35
- The PIL wants all students to be able to participate in a sport if eligible. If needed, please contact your Athletic Director at your school to discuss fees.
PILYSP Middle School Registration

- $200 per sport per student

- The PIL offers a reduced rate for families of $60
- The PIL wants all students to be able to participate in a sport if eligible. If needed, please contact your cluster coordinator for assistance.
